Projective To Unveil New Strawberry Workflow Innovations

News Image
Projective will introduce a series of new capabilities for its Strawberry production asset management platform at IBC2026, with the company focusing on tools designed to simplify post-production workflows and improve operational efficiency for broadcasters, production companies and creative agencies.

Exhibiting on Stand 7.D12 in Hall 7 at the RAI Amsterdam from September 11–14, the software developer will showcase three new additions to the Strawberry platform aimed at helping organisations manage content more effectively, streamline multi-site operations and deploy cloud-based production environments more quickly.

According to Projective, the latest developments are designed to address the growing operational pressures facing post-production teams as budgets tighten and production schedules become increasingly demanding.

"Post-production is under real pressure. Budgets are tighter, deadlines are shorter, and teams are smaller than they were two years ago," said Derek Barrilleaux, CEO, Projective. "What rarely gets said out loud is that the biggest cost isn’t hardware or headcount; it’s chaos. Every hour spent hunting for a clip, every duplicated asset, every stalled approval is margin leaking out of the business. Our customers are reclaiming up to 20 hours per user, per week, by removing that operational waste. At IBC2026, we’re not just showing new tools. We’re showing teams how to do more with less, and scale with confidence."

Among the new features is AI Visual Search with Shot Detection, which automatically identifies individual shots within footage, allowing editors to search for and access specific frames without manually reviewing large volumes of media. The feature builds on Strawberry's existing media intelligence capabilities by combining shot detection with contextual search to improve content discovery across extensive media libraries.

Projective will also debut a Single Pane of Glass management interface, enabling users to monitor and manage multiple Strawberry deployments from one central dashboard. The feature is designed for organisations operating across cloud, on-premises, archive, disaster recovery and remote production environments.

Completing the announcements is the Strawberry Skies Starter Bundle, a fully hosted cloud-based post-production platform offered as a subscription package. Aimed at smaller teams and temporary productions, the bundle combines project and asset management, storage, AI-powered search and transcription, and review and approval tools into a single hosted environment that can be deployed rapidly without dedicated hardware.

Projective says the new capabilities continue its strategy of replacing fragmented workflows with more structured and scalable production operations.

Projective will demonstrate the new Strawberry capabilities at IBC2026 on Stand 7.D12 in Hall 7.
