Channel 4 Appoints Simon Rexworthy As Chief Strategy And Corporate Development Officer

Channel 4 has appointed Simon Rexworthy as Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer. He will report to Chief Executive Priya Dogra and join the broadcaster’s executive committee.

Joining later this month, Rexworthy will lead Channel 4’s corporate strategy, shaping its long-term vision and roadmap. His remit includes strategic partnerships and corporate development, and he will also support the broadcaster’s approach to new technologies and AI.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Rexworthy has worked across strategy, product management, content acquisition and business transformation in the pay-TV and streaming sectors.

He was most recently Chief Strategy and Product Officer at MultiChoice South Africa, overseeing product strategy and development across streaming, internet and TV products.

Earlier roles included Chief Strategy, Data, and Insights Officer at Showmax, and Director of International Streaming Development at Sky.
