Lightware To Unveil USB-C Booster, Google Meet Integration And TPN MMU At ISE 2026

Lightware is to debut a raft of product updates at ISE 2026, headlined by the new USB-C BOOSTER‑V1, expanded Google Meet integration across multiple Taurus UCX models, and the latest TPN MMU for SDVoE-based AV-over-IP systems.

Across ten immersive demos, the company will show how its portfolio streamlines connectivity, enables scalable networked AV, and powers next‑generation collaboration spaces.

The USB-C BOOSTER‑V1 is a purpose-built, plug‑and‑play extender designed to carry full‑featured USB‑C up to 12 metres, including USB 2.0/3.2 data and DisplayPort Alt Mode. It delivers 4K video, USB communication and up to 100W host charging via its internal power supply, removing the need for an external power brick. Positioned as a cost‑effective option, it is aimed at modern, scalable BYOD workflows and simple installations.

Among the ten live demos, Lightware will spotlight the TPN MMU, a Matrix Management Unit for its TPN AV‑over‑IP range. It offers integrated device discovery and automatically detects and manages all SDVoE endpoints, cutting deployment time and simplifying daily operation through a clear, intuitive interface. The setup is supported by a reliable NETGEAR network backbone.

The stand will also feature an enhanced Google Meet experience enabled by Taurus UCX integration. Demonstrations will show compatibility with the UCX‑4x2‑HC40, UCX‑4x3‑HC40, UCX‑4x2‑HC40D and UCX‑4x3‑HC40‑BD models. The solution provides unified BYOD/BYOM functionality, allowing users to access room displays, cameras and peripherals even when there is no active Google Meet session, while ensuring the room system keeps stable control during ongoing calls.

For retrofit and large‑scale deployments, the GVN platform demo will illustrate true plug‑and‑play USB‑C connectivity. With custom LARA Configuration, GVN can leverage an independent media layer—routing video and audio separately from USB data—alongside Dante audio compatibility and strong system scalability. It supports effortless content sharing and up to 100W charging so that modern devices can connect instantly.

A 5K Meeting Room demo will show how Taurus devices handle switching for 5K 21:9 ultrawide displays, supporting 5120×2160 via HDMI 2.0 for high‑clarity visuals in meeting and control environments. USB‑C connectivity underpins straightforward content sharing and device charging, highlighting the Taurus family’s suitability for ultrawide, performance‑driven collaboration spaces.

Visitors will also be able to explore the LARA (Lightware Advanced Room Automation) Wizard for simplified room automation workflows, alongside Lightware’s professional cable range. The newly expanded HC60 line‑up will be on display as a significant hardware update to existing HC40 models, offering faster network performance, native USB‑C peripheral connectivity and 5K video output for future‑ready BYOD rooms.

Ahead of the show, Lightware will host two 'ISE 2026 sneak‑peak' webinars, with morning and afternoon sessions previewing the key developments set to appear on the stand.
