OmniBus Systems to showcase new G3 product range at IBC 2004

Omnibus Systems, a leading provider of broadcast automation and asset management solutions, will demonstrate a suite of new products based on its award-winning G3 technology at IBC2004 Stand 8.548.
A software development kit that will enable customers and partners to create and integrate their own solutions into a G3 environment will also be unveiled. This will allow users to integrate all of their broadcast systems under a single operational interface, greatly simplifying the running of a facility, management of its systems, and staff training.
New G3-based products to be demonstrated at the show include G3 Control, an advanced station management system that offers unmatched flexibility in providing device access, operation, and management over distributed networks for highly efficient, highly integrated broadcast operations.G3 Control encompasses solutions for router control, machine control, and integration with signal processing equipment, all from a customisable user interface with access available to multiple local and remote users.
Also to be unveiled is the HeadLine News Solution, featuring sophisticated ingest solutions for both automated and ad hoc recordings. HeadLine TX playout can be used in a simple form for Betacart-style playout but will adapt to perform more advanced automation with graphics, timelines, and secondary events. HeadLine is also seamlessly integrated with the latest version of MOS and is compatible with major newsroom systems such as ENPS and iNews.
