Nadiya Hussain Returns To BBC Two For New Cooking Series

BBC has announced that previous winner of 'The Great British Bake Off', Nadiya Hussain, will return to BBC Two with a new eight-part cooking series, 'Nadiya's Family Favourites'.

In the series she will create a wealth of dishes for families and friends to fit in with modern life, and demonstrate how to create the perfect dishes for these communal occasions. Each episode sees Nadiya prepare four recipes, some which include Spatchcock Spicy Chicken with Ghee Potatoes and Baked Pear and Marzipan Crumble.

The series will also see Nadiya out and about with specially filmed inserts. In Home Made, Nadiya meets producers to see what makes the perfect everyday ingredient such as olive oil or red wine vinegar. In Store Cupboard, Nadiya will meet people who make amazing products from their home kitchens.

Nadiya Hussain said: "I'm delighted to be able to share some of my family's favourite recipes that I've put together to suit different times and situations, from Wind Down Weekends to Family Occasions and the comings and goings of a hectic family life"

Nadiya's Family Favourites is a Hungry Gap Productions series for BBC Two. The Executive Producer is Pete Lawrence. It was commissioned for the BBC by Patrick Holland, Channel Editor, BBC Two and David Brindley, BBC Head of Commissioning for Popular Factual and Factual Entertainment.
