The League Of Gentlemen To Return
BBC Two has announced that The League Of Gentlemen is to return this Christmas to celebrate its 20th anniversary at the BBC.
The three new episodes will see the return of Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith as they play a host of strange and darkly comic characters who inhabit the fictional Northern town of Royston Vasey.
Royston Vasey is facing a threat bigger than anything it has faced before – rumours of boundary changes that could erase the town from the map forever. The fight to save Royston Vasey from administrative annihilation will come from unexpected and surprising directions, all of them local.
The scripts have been written by the three members of the League and co-creator Jeremy Dyson.
The League of Gentlemen is a BBC Studios Production for BBC Two.
