'Stage School' To Return To E4

News Image
A new series of Stage School has been commissioned by E4.

Following the lives of students and staff at the D&B Academy of Performing Arts, a few familiar faces return for the new series alongside some new talent.

Durone, Jordi, Josh, Leah, Luke, Megan and Pia are all back, and are joined by West End show dancers Brooke, Kieran and Rhianna, brother and sister students Lucia and Santino, and students Alex and Lydia who are boyfriend and girlfriend. Singers Hollie, Giles and Vincent also feature and are just as eager to make it in show business.

The 30x30' structured reality series will document the drama, friendships and fallouts of life at the school. Also this series, students from the D&B junior school will also try to make their way in the entertainment industry and compete against their older peers for parts in and out of college. The show provides an insight into the hard work and dedication it takes to make it in the business.

Run by the Sullivan sisters, Donna and Bonnie, the south London stage school trains students looking to embark on a career in the performing arts.

The series has been commissioned by Channel 4's Head of Formats, Dom Bird. Jonathan Stadlen is Executive Producer, with Knickerbockerglory named as the production company.

Jonathan Stadlen, Executive Producer for Knickerbockerglory, commented: "Building on the first series of Stage School, we are looking forward to a super-sized series 2, featuring the young and incredibly talented students at the D&B Academy. Expect bigger performances in real settings and storylines following the young hopefuls on their journey to success."
