Discreet announce new versions of inferno, flame and flint
Discreet have announced new versions of their compositing and visual effects systems, inferno 5.5, flame 8.5 and flint 8.5.
These new versions debuted recently at Inter BEE in Chiba City, Japan. Discreet’s Academy Award – winning visual effects systems have played a pivotal leadership role in digital film production for nearly a decade and are now helping drive new HDTV and 2K digital intermediate workflows around the world.
“These new versions of inferno, flame and flint are a clear demonstration of our ongoing commitment to providing the world’s leading digital artists with the most innovative technology in visual effects,” said Martin Vann, Discreet’s vice president of worldwide sales and marketing. “The rich functionality of the new inferno, flame and flint systems help artists accomplish more in less time, with an even stronger end result.”
