Footage Marketplace Takes New York

News Image
Following on from the second footageMarketplace held in London earlier this year, the event is heading to New York again on 17 October 2013 to be staged at the Art Directors Club at 106 W 29th Street.
"This is a prime opportunity for US based researchers, footage buyers and production personnel to meet and network with top footage libraries," a statement from organisers said.
"Last year's footageMarketplace in New York was seen as a top-quality networking event attended by hundreds of buyers wanting to meet new footage libraries and interact with existing ones."
Event Organiser and Publisher of Stock Footage Online, Robert Prior added: "At this time of social media the most outstanding form of social communication still remains with the benefits of a face-to-face exchange. To be able to shake a hand, exchange a smile, emphasis a point by the tone of ones voice is of vital importance in the building of business relationships. That is one of the prime reasons footageMarketplace was created."
Stock footage libraries present in the Art Directors Club in central New York include: ABC News, Alamy, Global ImageWorks, ITN Source, OmniMovi, HBO, and many others.
