BVE North Returns To Manchester This November

Following the resounding success of the launch show, which attracted 2500 visitors and 90 exhibitors over two days, BVE North returns to the Manchester Central venue on 13-14 November 2012, with even bigger plans to inspire andeducate broadcast and media professionals in the Northern regions.

Due to increased demand the show has increased its floor space by 62%, with confirmed exhibitors to date including ARRI, Blackmagic, JVC, Panasonic, Sennheiser and VizRT. However, the show remains focussed on the elements that made last year’s show such a success: its regional roots and its excellent free seminar content.
The perennially popular free seminars will run across three theatres, introducing influential speakers who will share their expertise on a range of topical subjects. Content streams will cover 3D across sports, documentaries, gaming and entertainment, as well as IT, audio and post-production solutions, and production best practice. BVE North 2012 will also introduce The Media Industry Forum, an invitation-only, high-level discussion forum for media business strategic directors. The two-day session will examine trends in the consumption of digital media; identify the new commissioners and funders of content; discuss the increasingly important issue of monetising content in the multi-platform environment; and assess the outlook for UK TV and Film production nationally and internationally.
In addition the event will offer extended networking opportunities via fringe events with Creative England, The Comedy Film Festival and a host of other broadcast networking groups in the North West.
