DK-Audio at IBC - new products for the broadcast market
Danish metering specialist DK-Audio is attending the IBC exhibition in Amsterdam with a range of new products designed to appeal to broadcast professionals.
Following its recent acquisition of video metering manufacturer, PTV, the company is launching the PTV PT5202, a Compact VariTime™ Sync Generator that includes all the features necessary for professional sync, timing and test signals in one half-sized box. Unlike its predecessor, the PT 5201, the PT5202 incorporates front panel controls that enable users to operate the Sync Generator without recourse to software within a PC. It’s small size makes it ideal for OB vehicles and for studios that require an accurate and yet cost-effective sync generation tool.
Features include 3 Black Burst in VariTime™ sub-nanosecond resolution, 8 PAL or 4 NTSC fields; TSG/Black Burst analogue; I TSG/Black SDI; 1 AES/EBU or Analogue audio; a Word Clock; Genlock to PAL, NTSC, or 10 MHz clock, for slave operations; Multistandard 525/60, 625/50.
