BVE Sees UK Launch Of Stagetec Console

Aspen Media, a UK distributor specialising in broadcast and post production audio, control and communication products, is bringing the latest development from Stagetec to BVE at Earls Court in February, the On Air 24.
Chris Collings, Aspen Media's Director, explained: "The Stagetec On Air 24 is a production mixing console designed for radio and small studies. It's a new concept for Stagetec being a modular system that allows the broadcaster to freely plan the layout of the work surface and to add further banks of faders as the need arises. As with all the other desks in the Stagetec range, the On Air 24 is configured and controlled via the NEXUS routing system. We can see great potential for this new design in self-ops and small workshops."
Aspen Media will also be showing the Delec Oratis intercom system that will be installed in the BBC Broadcasting House extension, the T*AP television audio processor from Jünger Audio, RTW's latest audio meter the TouchMonitor and JLCooper's control surfaces for Apple's Final Cut and Colour. And, for the first time in the UK, visitors to the stand will be able to see MADI products from DirectOut Technologies.
RTW's Technical Director, Mike Kahsnitz, a member of the EBU's P/Loud group, is presenting a seminar in The Audio Room at BVE on Wednesday February 16 at 2pm entitled The Implementation of EBU R128 Loudness Recommendations."
Aspen Media has been supplying audio equipment to the broadcast industry for fifteen years under the leadership of its Director Chris Collings.
