RTS/TELEX Products Draw Crowds And Orders At IBC

At IBC 2010, RTS/TELEX introduced several new products including the ADAM-M, Zeus III LE and LE+ and the MADI-16+ card OKNO TV Russia and Amptown System Company Germany shared this year's Distributor of the Year award.
The company said that the number of dealers, as well as industry insiders and specialists, who visited the stand at the show, particularly during the press conference on the Saturday, was "remarkable".
Kamil Swobodzinski, Sales Director, RTS/TELEX EMEA, said: "The feedback from our customers and the press were both highly positive. The IBC fully met our expectations and confirmed our generally confident mood for 2010/11."
RTS/TELEX introduced several new products for IBC. These included the ADAM-M, the new compact 3U matrix, which supports eight cards as well as redundant master controllers. In combination with the MADI-16+, the ADAM-M can be configured with up to 128 ports AI/O or 224 channels - the most in its class.
The revival in popularity of MADI due to its ability to interface and interoperate with other systems prompted the launch this year of the MADI-16+ card.
The new RTS MADI-16+ card allows the customer to fully integrate MADI into their communications system enabling the transport of up to 64 channels of full band digital audio. Scalable between 16 and 64 channels and with redundant fibre and co-ax connections the MADI-16+ card offers a simple and convenient way to link systems together.
In its Zeus III LE and LE+, RTS/TELEX also introduced two new intercom matrices. Designed to satisfy the need for matrix power in smaller installations, the Zeus III LE offers 16 ports, two party-line channels with a single power supply. The Zeus III LE+ offers the same feature set with the addition of redundant power supplies.
Another introduction for IBC was the new MH series of modular single and double sided headsets. Available in both active (ANR) and passive noise reduction versions, the MH series new snap on modular construction allows a headset to be converted to headphones by simply clicking in the required module. Ideal for hire and field repair the MH series of headsets met with instant customer approval.
A highlight on the agenda of the traditional RTS/TELEX eve of show meeting is presentation of the Distributor of the Year award - a title shared this year by two companies: the German RTS/TELEX partner Amptown System Company and OKNO TV of Russia. Kamil Swobodzinski said: "We congratulate both companies. Amptown and OKNO TV really distinguished themselves this year through their commitment as well as the energy and initiative they displayed in the cultivation of their respective markets. In each case, their efforts were richly rewarded; and in recognising them jointly with the title of Distributor of the Year we pay tribute to their efforts.
