Christmas Scripts For Eastenders Stolen

Scripts for the festive specials of Eastenders have reportedly been stolen.

According to the BBC, a laptop containing the scripts was stolen during a burglary at a writer's home.
It is now feared that details of the soap's Christmas plots could now be leaked online. It is understood that the Christmas episodes have already been recovered and that the actors' scripts were destroyed after filming on order to keep the plot twists and turns a secret.
The show's Executive Producer Diederick Santer said: "We're keen to get this laptop back as it contains all the twists and turns of our exciting Eastenders Christmas."
The festive double bill, which will be screened on Christmas Day, often attracts the show's largest number of viewers for the whole year.
The specials in 2007, which revealed the affair between Stacey Slater and her father-in-law Max Branning, attracted more than 14 million viewers and was the most-watched TV programme of the year.
