Miranda Simplifies Migration To 3Gbps Routing By Extending

Miranda Technologies has announced that it has simplified migration to 3Gbps, HD and fiber routing, using its NVISION Enterprise Class range, by extending its support for third party legacy routers.
Mark Nelsen, Product Manager, Router Control at Miranda, said: "Two of the most widely installed legacy routers are the GVG SMS7000 and Philips Jupiter, We've made it much easier to make a phased transition to our latest NVISION 3Gbs or HD routing from these legacy infrastructures."
The rich legacy router support of the Enterprise Class routers means that a facility can simply add a NVISION 3Gbps router, and control the new and existing routing system from the legacy controller and panels.
This easy upgrade facilities to phase their migration to 3Gbps, HD or fiber, while protecting their existing routing investment. It also minimises additional costs and system engineering. For more advanced operation, facilities can control their entire NVISION and legacy routing infrastructure using the NVISION 9000 Router Control and NVISION control panels.
The NVISION 900 Router Control operates with a wide variety of highly flexible hardware and software control panels. An easy-to-use Java-based configuration editor simplifies control set-up, and there is support for dynamic database configuration updates.
NVISION 9000 provides sophisticated multi-hop, tie-line management and SMNP support. The controller offers cost-effective bridging with many legacy third part router systems, including GVG SMS 7000, Philips Jupiter, Pro-Bel, Sierra Video, Sony and Pesa.
The NVISION Enterprise Class 3Gbps/HD/SD routers feature exceptional resilience, scalability and integration. They are designed for absolute dependability, with full power supply, controller and crosspoint redundancy. Available in sizes up to 1152 x 1152 video inputs, they provide unmatched signal path integrity for improved return loss and cable length performance.
