Shepperton film mixers win Emmy accolade
Shepperton Studios film mixers Mike Dowson and Mark Taylor have won an Emmy award for outstanding sound mixing for their work on the HBO Dreamworks epic 'Band of Brothers', produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
The postproduction work was carried out in Theatre One, designed by Munro Associates.
The whole mix was rerecorded in Dolby EX format on the custom Munro theatre sound system. Technical design and installation was by Trevor Griffin of Shepperton Sound.
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented the award at the 54th ceremony at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium.
