Tektronix Cerify Developer Community Welcomes Fifteen More Members

A leading worldwide provider of test, measurement and monitoring instrumentation, Tektronix, has announced that fifteen more members have joined the Tektronix Cerify Developer Community (CDC) - AVECO, AZCAR Technologies Incorporated, Digital Rapids, Flatirons Solutions Corporation, Irdeto, NINSIGHT, Pharos Communications, Ruzz TV, Screen Subtitling Systems, SGT, Tedial S.L., TMD, Vcodes CPS, Vizrt, Xytech Systems Corporation.
The new members bring the community to a total of 25. The goal of the community is to promote the use of automated Quality Control of file-based video by making Cerify integration, installation and support easier and faster for our partners and customers.
Cerify is the world's leading automated content verification solution, for determining the quality of file based, compressed digital video and audio content prior to transmission or use. The Community is an expanding group of companies who have been working to help their clients maximise the benefits of moving to a file-based workflow.
All aspects of a file-based work flow solution are covered by the Community members including automation system vendors, vendors of asset management systems, video server providers and system integrators.
Brian Stevenson, Director of Product Management at Digital Rapids, said: "The Cerify Developer Community facilitated the integration of our Digital Rapids Transcode Manager software with the Cerify system, and provides direct access to the technical expertise of Tektronix.
"The integrated solution enables a fully automated workflow in which transcoded output is automatically verified against a user-specified range of tests including content conformance, standards compliance and quality analysis. Based on the results of these tests, Transcode Manager can pass verified content on to the subsequent workflow stages or alert users to QC failures with links to full analysis reports. By automating the process, the combined system ensures high-quality deliverables while increasing our customers' efficiency and reducing their operational costs."
The Cerify Developer Community brings together the video and audio file-based expertise of Tektronix and leading vendors in the digital video ecosystem.
Vendors benefit by being able to rapidly integrate their solutions with Tektronix Cerify, the leading offering for verifying the quality of file-based, compressed digital video and audio content prior to distribution.
Customers benefit by obtaining fully integrated solutions that span a broad range of quality assurance needs.
