EX3 Adapts To V-Lok

Following demand from their customers and worldwide network of dealers, UK-based Hawk-Woods have just launched a V-Lok adaptor for the popular Sony PMW-EX3 camera.
Known as the VL-EX3, this new adapator allows the operator to run the PMW-EX3 camera from V-Mount type batteries, like Hawk-Woods' very own V-Lok range. The adaptor attaches to the camera just like a regular BP-U battery, supplying power via the DC input.
For those looking to run additional on-board equipment, the VL-EX3 features both Power-Con (D-Tap) and Hirose output sockets. These will provide 35Watt/12Volt regulated power distribution, ideal if you need to also run an on-board light. A side mounted bracket allows a radio mic or hard disk to also be mounted and powered from the adaptor.
For the most effective weight distribution, Hawk-Woods recommends using the VL-EX3 adaptor with either it's VL-70 or VL-100 type batteries.
