TSL choose JVC for Auckland installation

Television New Zealand (TVNZ) have ordered a large number of JVC portable, general purpose and reference colour monitors to form part of a digital upgrade, as well as a fly-away 'events package' for their Auckland television centre facilities.
The project was won and co-ordinated by Television Systems Limited (TSL), primarily for use in the coverage of local and international events including the America's Cup later this year.
The colour picture monitors are due to be installed during September and will be used throughout the New Zealand TV network centre. Once installed into Suite 4 and the master control room, the monitors will be linked to systems integrated with switchers, routers and multiviewers, enabling direct links to studios set up at sites around the world.
The adaptability of the portable monitors means they will also be fitted into flight cases to respond quickly to TVNZ's needs as and when they arise.
Yash Patel, Sales Director at JVC, was delighted when TSL confirmed the order. He said: "This is a very large installation for JVC and we are proud to be involved at the outset in the coverage of local and international events."
David MacGregor, managing director of TSL, explained why JVC was the right choice: "Our relationship with JVC has been established over many years and we are extremely pleased to include them as part of the TVNZ project. The decision to purchase JVC monitors was a combination of good value for money, confidence, great sales and product knowledge."
