Nordisk Film TV World Launches Innovative New Formats At NATPE 2009

Top Scandinavian distributor, Nordisk Film TV World will debut a line up of innovative new formats at NATPE later this month, International Director Karoline Spodsberg has announced.
'Construction Nightmares!' is a brand new take on the property genre, combining a feel-good makeover show with in-depth investigative journalism. Devised by Nordisk Film TV the show is currently a massive rating hit on TV2 Denmark with a never-seen before average share of 45.5% for a factual show in primetime.
Due to its success, the show has already been re-commissioned and a second season is currently in production.
'Construction Nightmares!' helps people that have had bad experiences in their homes with lazy and incompetent builders. The show's host tracks down the botchers, reveal their business behaviour and ask for an explanation as to why they didn't do a proper job. Meanwhile, a team of professional handymen completes the job and finishes the work for the grateful family.
What happens when six very sexually inexperienced men get in the hands of a successful dating expert and have to live like hippies in the '70s? We find out in 'Love Camp'!
Six men on the verge of manhood (despite the fact that they are in their late twenties) and one sexual therapist form the main ingredients in this exciting new reality show from the people who brought you the international hit 'FC Nerds'.
The men will spend six weeks at the '70s style 'Love Camp', With skilled tutors, various challenges and a lot of help from the dating therapist, their mission is to put aside all of their nervousness and be comfortable and outspoken men - and, of course, be able to date women!
If they manage to hook up with a woman in real life, they win an amazing date in Paris - the city of love... This daring show premiered on January 5 on TV2 Zulu with an impressive 16% commercial share in the target group, well above average for the channel.
Light entertainment at its best is found in 'Don't Date Him Girl', a hot new dating game show created by Babyfoot APS Denmark - the same creators who devised the ground-breaking popular format, 'I Survived A Japanese Game Show', now in for its second season on ABC. 'Don't Date Him Girl' is a show, where three over-confident, single men compete for the affections of a girl - however, they don't expect their ex-girlfriends to be in the show to spice things up a little.
Whilst the men try to impress, their former girlfriends are more than happy to tell the truth about their ex-boyfriends' characters. And, at the end of the show, the female single must decide which of the guys she will pick and take on a fantastic holiday... or will she?
Hosted by a celebrity female known for her with and intelligence, this game show format is irreverent, informal and wicked entertainment.
