Myvideorights.com Partners With Blinkx

Myvideorights.com, a leading digital video distributor run by Ashley Mackenzie, has announced a partnership with video search engine blinkx.
Myvideorights.com will provide blinkx with a selection of short-form video content from its catalogue, including clips from extreme sports video producer Black Diamond and travel channel Monumental.
Under the terms of the agreement, blinkx will leverage its AdHoc platform to place contextually relevant advertising against myvideorights.com's content.
Launched by Ashley Mackenzie, myvideorights.com is backed by Peter Bazalgette, Rupert Dilnott-Cooper and Kelvin Mackenzie.
The company's mission is to help content owners and publishers achieve greater value from digital distribution.
To date, myvideorights.com has signed an impressive number of producers, including ALL3MEDIA International' Film & General Productions (owned by Clive Parsons); and Zodiak Plc.
Myvideorights.com provides only rights-cleared content and allows entertainment producers an effective way of monetising their video and enables digital publishers to acquire safe, clean advertiser-friendly media.
blinkx has built a reputation as the Remote Control for the Video Web, having partnered with some of the world's leading video content producers. As the company's newest partner, myvideorights.com will provide blinkx with a variety of premium web programming across a number of categories, including AI's UK entertainment and New You's fashion, health and nutrition tips.
Ashley Mackenzie, CEO of myvideorights.com commented: "blinkx has carved a strong niche in video search and increasingly other consumer-facing online video services.
"This deal demonstrates how much companies like blinkx crave rights-cleared, 'safe', professionally-produced content to attract advertisers. We're very much looking forward to working with blinkx and rolling our new phases of content after this initial one."
Suranga Chandratillake, Founder and CEO, of blinkx, said: "We're constantly striving to build our list of media partners, in an effort to strengthen our offering to consumers.
"We're delighted to partner with myvideorights.com whose impressive repository of professional rights-cleared content serves as an excellent addition to our index."
