Editec To Distribute The I-Movix SprintCam Live V2 In The UK

Following its introduction and showcase at the 2008 NAB show, Editec has entered into an agency agreement with I-Movix S.A. of Mons, Belgium, to distribute and support the SprintCam Live V2 Ultra Motion Camera System in the UK and Ireland.
Created in partnership with Fujinon and Photron, the SprintCam Live V2 is the first broadcast solution for extreme slow-motion, offering up to 10,000 fps with instant playback capability, and was the official extreme slow motion technology for the Beijing Olympics.
Editec, the original UK importer of the EVS LSM product and the UK's only LSM specialist, has a worldwide reputation for supplying one stop, server based slow-motion and post production solutions.
Steve Cotterill, Managing Director of Editec, commented: "We are delighted to embark upon this collaboration with I-Movix. We see this technology as a natural progression to complement the comprehensive services already offered to our clients. Over the past two years, we have looked at and tested several high speed cameras and feel that SprintCam Live is the first system designed specifically for the OB market."
Editec offers this industry-leading technology in the UK with full sales, hire and support service. SprintCam Live will be on show at Editec's stand OE120 at IBC2008.
