RTW Gets Certification For ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management

RTW, developers and manufacturers of advanced sound studio technology, has announced that it was recently assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, the internationally recognised standard for quality management.
Based in Cologne, RTW has three decades of experience in the development, manufacturing and marketing of advanced audio technology and measurement instruments for sound studios and radio and television broadcasters worldwide.
The company's main products are peak level metres and TFT-based audio visualisation systems using Surround Sound Analyser, an RTW technology that is also used under license in waveform monitors produced by Tektronix.
ISO 9001:2000 certification measures a company's ability to meet and improve upon quality and customer satisfaction. RTW's certification demonstrates adherence to documented quality processes and procedures that ensure ongoing improvements in the development, manufacturing and support of the company's products. RTW's assessment and certification was performed by TÜV Rhineland Cert GmbH.
RTW's product portfolio includes multichannel integrated surround-sound visualisation systems with TFT displays. The company's flagship products are the SurroundControl 31900/31960 and the SurroundMonitor 11900. These hardware platforms offer network support, integrated monitoring control (SurroundControl 31900/31960 only), ITU BS.
1771-compliant loudness displays, BLITS compatibility and a number of special functions. Additionally, the platforms are equipped with an HD/SD-SDI de-embedder interface and a Dolby E/Dolby AC-3 decoder option for seamless integration into the workflow of TV production facilities.
In Germany and Austria, RTW is also known as the exclusive distributor for the audio measurement systems made by US manufacturer Audio Precision.
