New Association For Fleetwood Promises Superior Sound

Fleetwood Mobiles, experts in live audio recording, have announced its new association with Senior Sound Supervisors Jerry Boys and Ronald Prent.
Jerry will be representing Fleetwood as its Senior Sound Supervisor in the UK while Ronald will fulfil the role throughout Europe.
Commenting on the announcement, Ian Cooper, Director of Fleetwood, said: "We are aiming to offer a service to our clients where we can provide the perfect engineer for each specific event.
"Having Jerry and Ronald offers us the opportunity to extend our quest for superior sound, something that is becoming increasingly important for the live recording sector as clients become aware of the audio demands created by the rapid evolution of HDTV, Blu-ray and On-Line distribution."
Jerry Boys started his career in 1965 as a tape-op at the world famous Abbey Road Studios, where he worked with such artists as The Beatles and Pink Floyd and later at Olympic Studios with The Rolling Stones. Since then he has worked at studios around the world recording and producing many Platinum, Gold and Grammy Award winning records.
Jerry has recently recorded and mixed Oumou Sangare's new album at Livingston Studios and continues working on the Buena Vista Social Club Live project for World Circuit and is currently producing the eagerly awaited new record from Baaba Maal for Island Life.
Ronald brings with him a specialisation in surround sound mixing and recording. After a career as a freelance engineer working in some of the best studios around the world, Ronald has spend the last six years researching and developing best practice surround recording and mixing, with support from Philips and Sony.
Ronald has an impressive history of live recording, having worked with artists including Def Leppard, Dire Straits, Procol Harem, Lenny Kravitz, Suzanne Vega and Sade. His musical credits include: 'Fame', 'Cats', 'Barnum', 'Les Miserables' and he has recorded the opera 'Aida' and the North Sea Jazz Festival for live radio and TV, which featured the last live performance by Ray Charles.
