Ross Video Launches Fibre I/O For Vision QMD/X Switcher Line
Ross Video, a designer, manufacturer and supporter of a wide range of innovative products for use in live production applications, has launched fibre I/O for the Vision QMD/X Switcher Line.
Vision QMD/X is the first production switcher line to offer Fibre I/O as an option.
Visions' inputs and outputs can now be individually configured as Coaxial HD-SDI or fibre optic connections. The new feature is multi-format and can accept all popular SD and HD resolutions.
The Fibre I/O feature is available on the extremely compact Vision QMD 3RU 4ME chassis and the Vision QMD-X 4 ME chassis, right up to 96 inputs and 48 outputs.
David Ross, CEO, said: "For many installations, the 100 metre limit of HD-SDI over coax was just too limiting. We're pleased to lead the way with this new and innovative fibre solution."
