Monte Carlo TV Festival Gets US Support

The 48th Monte Carlo Television Festival (June 8-12, 2008) will welcome top stars from CBS Paramount International Television, it was announced today by David Tomatis, Chief Executive Officer of the Festival.
"This A-List star presence reflects the fantastic support from the American studios and networks," Mr Tomatis commented.
Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Mark Harmon is scheduled to attend the Festival on behalf of CPITV's worldwide favourite NCIS. NCIS ranks as the top series on its network in France (M6) and in the United Kingdom (FX, multi channel).
Additionally, NCIS ranks as the top U.S. series on Sat1 in Germany and also is a top 20 U.S. series in Australia and Italy.
NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is more than just an action drama. With liberal doses of humor, the series focuses on the sometimes complex and always amusing dynamics of a team traveling the globe to investigate crimes from murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines, led by NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Harmon).
David Krumholtz will represent NUMB3RS, the drama centering on a mathematical genius Charlie Eppes (Krumholtz) who helps his brother, FBI Special Agent Don Eppes (Rob Morrow), solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles.
Together, the two brothers take on the most confounding criminal cases from very distinctive perspectives.
In addition, CSI, the world's most popular franchise, which includes CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: MIAMI and CSI: NY will be represented at the Festival by George Eads (CSI) and Adam Rodriguez (CSI: MIAMI).
Considered a global phenomenon, the CSI franchise series, which follow teams of forensic investigators, have earned impressive ratings in the United States and in other countries as well. Internationally, all three series of the CSI franchise currently rank among the top 20 U.S. series in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Each series in the franchise is licensed in over 180 territories.
