'Satisfaction' Guaranteed For Ozzie Drama
Australian drama 'Satisfaction' has been snapped up with over 10 deals inked, including Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Israel, Korea, New Zealand and France's M6 Group.
Created by Roger Simpson's company, Lonehand Productions, the 10 part series Satisfaction made a splash in its homeland when broadcast on premium channel SHOWCASE late last year and has received international accolades for leading the vanguard of new high quality Australia productions.
'Satisfaction' has also been nominated for Most Outstanding Drama and Favourite Drama at the prestigious ASTRA awards (Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association).
FME's CEO, David Ellender said: "Satisfaction's sales achievements confirms that there is always an eager marketplace for engaging drama with high production values. We are delighted that demand is already so high, long before we even set up camp at MIPTV. And the fact the show has been re-commissioned is a real sign of approval."
