Electric Sky Ranks High In Industry Survey

Brighton indie, Electric Sky Productions has made it into UK business and production magazine, Broadcast’s annual industry survey of top 100 indies.
The company has been ranked 13th in the regional survey and 63rd in the overall industry survey improving on last year’s 71st position. Sister company, Electric Sky, the Distribution arm of the company, also scored a top position after being voted within the Top 10 Most Used Distributors in the UK.
The top rated results clearly establish the company’s position as one of the UK’s most innovative and exciting Indies.
Benita Matofska, Creative Director at Electric Sky Productions said: "ESP is now very firmly on the production map - we have an excellent creative team here with specialised skills in gaining unprecedented access and breaking new talent, we’re carving out a niche for ourselves."
In 2007 Electric Sky produced over 62 hours of programming for broadcasters in the UK and US. Key commissions include The Castration Cure, 1 x 60 documentary for Channel Four, Fat Doctor, Series 1 & 2, a 6 x 50 minute series on Discovery Home & Health, Make Your Child Brilliant, a primetime formatted series for Channel Five, and My Shocking Story a 7 x 50-minute series for Discovery UK.
