Evolutions In 'Top Gear' For BBC One
Evolutions, one of Soho’s largest independent post production facilities, has announced that it has won the open tender for BBC 2’s flagship show 'Top Gear'.
Evolutions has provided full post production on the programme since Series 6 and were part of a competitive tender that took place in December 2007.
The renewed contract for Series 11 and 12, both to go for transmission in 2008, will start in March and will also include a one-off special.
Evolutions were chosen by the Top Gear production team due to its experience with the show and the ability to provide high quality and creative work in a short turnaround time.
Evolutions’ dubbing mixers Stewart Harper and Graham Kirkland, who won a Conch award for Top Gear in 2007, will continue to work on series using the latest Pro Tools equipment.
“Top Gear is one of the UK’s all time most popular shows and we are proud to be able to work on it. The show’s high production values have made it win awards for its look and sound and we are pleased to continue working with the production team on achieving this,” said Simon Kanjee, Managing Director, Evolutions.
