BFI Announce Two Senior Cultural Programme And DVD Appointments

The BFI has announced the key appointments of Jane Giles as Head of Content and Sam Dunn as Head of DVD.
Jane Giles was most recently Head of Acquisitions at Tartan Films UK and USA. She was previously Director of ICA Cinemas and Projects in charge of film programming and distribution. She has also worked for Channel 4, the London Film Festival and previously at the BFI as Head of Distribution.
Sam Dunn has been a key member of the Home Entertainment division of Tartan Films for seven years. His time at the company culminated with his promotion to the role of Deputy Managing Director in January 2007.
Heather Stewart, Cultural Programme Director of the BFI comments: “We are very happy that two such strong talents are coming to the BFI. Jane joins us at a critical moment in a changing multi-platform world, bringing new thinking about how we can reach new audiences. Sam brings great experience and knowledge to develop our DVD label and meet our high sales targets.”
