Educational Needs Gets Helping Hand

Over a year’s worth of innovative new software for those with special educational needs has been handed to the BBC.
Rt. Hon. David Blunkett M.P. was the keynote speaker at a presentation celebration this week when the Shoreditch Consortium Ltd handed the material over.
The Shoreditch Consortium, an award-winning, media production company based in Shoreditch, London comprises three specialist companies; Gamelab London (a dedicated e-technology company within London Metropolitan University), 2Simple Software Ltd (one of the UK’s leading educational software producers and distributors) and Cardiff-based TV and video producers, the Genesis Media Group Ltd.
Over the last two years the company has produced over £1.2 million’s worth of interactive websites with TV and video for BBC London.
Genesis’ Alan Torjussen said: “Our success in producing very innovative, interactive solutions is due to matching up our very established TV and video team with some of the UK’s best developers, illustrators and designers under the Shoreditch banner.”
