Andrew Butcher Steps Down As News Corporation's Chief Spokesman

News Corporation’s Chief Spokesman, Andrew Butcher has stepped down after almost 20 years of service.
Butcher has worked at News Corp as a journalist, executive and has worked as chief spokesperson for nearly 10 years.
Gary Ginsberg, News Corp’s Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Corporate Affairs commented: “Andrew has worked tirelessly over the past eight years to elevate the Company’s profile with keen intelligence and razor-sharp wit.”
He will be replaced in New York by Teri Everett, the company’s Los Angeles-based Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Communications. Her replacement will be Julie Henderson, who has worked for Fox Interactive Media and MySpace.
Butcher is returning to his native Australia.
