Virgin Boss Tipped For GCap Media Chief Executive Role

A senior executive at Virgin Media, Malcolm Wall is being considered to succeed Ralph Bernard at GCap Media.
Mr Wall, who is currently chief executive of Virgin Media’s Content Division, is one of a number of external candidates being considered for the post of Chief Executive.
Phil Riley, former Chief Executive of Chrysalis Radio is also a leading external candidate while GCap London Managing Director and GCap London Managing Director, Fru Hazlitt is the leading internal candidate.
GCap Chairman, Richard Eyre said that the company needs to expand beyond radio or it is “headed for oblivion”.
Bernard will step down from the chief executive role at GCap as soon as a successor is appointed.
