Call To Register For Places At BBC Innovation Labs 2008

The 2008 BBC Innovation Labs are going live, and producers are invited to one of nine launch days planned around the UK in mid-November.
The Innovation Labs offer a way of developing ideas, theories and solutions, with BBC Commissioners.
This are also a chance to get the very latest in thinking straight from the heart of the BBC, and to help the BBC develop innovative services for audiences.
In a revised format the Innovation Labs briefs span Mobile, Nations & Regions, Vision, Audio & Music, Interactive TV, and Journalism. The biggest change is that at the end of each lab, those companies who win commissions will know how much they are being commissioned for before they leave, within one week of the lab they will have agreed milestones for delivery with their commissioner, and within two weeks the purchase order will have been raised.
Go to the website at http://www.4rfv.co.uk/link-error.aspx to get full information, including a short video of each commissioner talking through the kind of projects they want you to help develop.
The nine launch days are being held in:
  • Liverpool - November 12th - Liverpool JM University
  • Newcastle - November 13th - Royal Station Hotel
  • Glasgow - November 14th - BBC Scotland
  • Edinburgh - November 15th - Royal College of Physicians
  • Leeds - November 19th - The Carriage Works Theatre
  • Birmingham - November 20th - University of Birmingham
  • Manchester - November 21st - The Lowry
  • Cardiff - November 22nd - Chapter Arts Centre
  • Swansea - November 23rd - The Dylan Thomas Centre

Spaces are limited, some venues are already fully booked, so get in early and register at http://www.4rfv.co.uk/link-error.aspx
