Root6 Technology At IBC 2007
ContentAgent, the popular universal capture and transcode platform from ROOT6 Technology will be shown with its latest enhancements at IBC.
The latest software release V2.2 will be demonstrated, together with a showcasing of some important new V2.3 features currently in development; these will become available before the end of the year.
Designed to streamline workflow and provide fast return on investment in broadcast, post-production and film environments, ContentAgent offers users a range of unique tools to simplify the processing of digital files. At the front end, the intuitive 'real-world' GUI has been designed for non-technical operators to automate all aspects of file import, capture, transcoding, output and distribution. Interactive DVDs are also easily created using the integral burner and no prior authoring experience is required.
Using ContentAgent's workflow designer, even the most complex workflows are simply constructed and may be saved as templates for use on repetitive tasks.
The new features demonstrated at IBC will include support for MXF as either a source or output format and the Avid MXF option will be shown with DNxHD support. A new DVD Preview capability allows users to preview an authored DVD before committing to writing the authored file to disc.
