Broadcast Robotics From Vinten Radamec Feature At Mediatech

Vinten Radamec has now successfully addressed the key investment challenge of that initial upgrade to a robotic system with the Fusion FBH175 Bolt-on height drive, which will be showcased at Mediatech 2007.
This revolutionary system enables the operator to have the benefits of a robotic bolt-on height drive combined with a manual or robotic head on selected Vinten and Sachtler manual pedestals. This means the whole system can be operated remotely without having to upgrade to a complete robotics system. It delivers an affordable, adaptable robotics upgrade for customers by utilising existing manual equipment.
The Fusion FBH175 bolt-on height drive significantly increases the flexibility of studio applications while minimising costs for the customer.
At Mediatech, the Fusion FBH175 bolt on height drive is being shown with a Fusion FH100 head on a Vinten Osprey Elite manual pedestal, together with a selection of other products in the ground-breaking Vinten Radamec Fusion range of robotic broadcast camera support systems and accessories.
The Vinten Radamec range of robotics broadcast systems is ideal for almost any camera support application. It can deliver the right solution, whether capturing fast moving action on the sports field or providing unobtrusive reporting of legislatives.
Latest additions to the Fusion range, include the robotic only head - the FHR100; the FP145 lightweight pedestal and the Vinten Radamec universal control system.
The new FHR100 head includes standard features from the FH100 full function head, with the exception of not providing manual control, enabling the design to be smaller, lighter, and provide even greater cost effectiveness. The highly versatile direct control of the digital full servo broadcast lenses from the main lens providers is maintained
The new Fusion robotic pedestal, the FP145 has a payload of 85kg (175lbs).
Its unique accuracy-enhancing four wheel design, easy access electronics modules and Vinten manual performance take robotic pedestal design into a new dimension.
The new universal control system provides seamless, backward compatibility with established products from Autocam and Radamec but has also been designed with a high degree of versatility to accommodate future scalability and new products from the Vinten Radamec range.
