Forbidden Technologies Sets Out Future Vision

The CEO of Forbidden Technologies Stephen Streater will this week set out his vision for the future of web-based video creation and delivery at the Video on the Net Conference in San Jose, USA, March 19-22.
Entitled 'The Web's Video Toolkit', Streater's session will discuss technical innovation in cross-platform, browser-based editing, and highlight the opportunities of new mobile access and delivery channels.
The session will also provide an overview of Forbidden's professional web-based editing system for the broadcast industry, FORscene, and its unique consumer proposition, Clesh, which allows users to create, edit and share their own videos across a variety of online and mobile devices including iPods and mobile phones. Significantly, both services enable functionally rich, browser-based editing with no requirement for software installation or configuration.
"Our professional and consumer offerings are the result of more than 17 years of video tools development - matching an easy to learn interface with the functionality and quality of a professional system," said Stephen Streater, CEO of Forbidden. "Tools with this combination of power and usability are vital to fill the gap between uploading raw video and watching video in a web page. Services such as ours will spur the continued mass adoption of online video, and the growth and commercialisation of our industry."
'The Web's Video Toolkit' session will take place at the show on Tuesday 20th March at 12:40pm, in the Video Pavilion.
