Film Agency For Wales Inviting Annual International Film Event Ideas

The Film Agency for Wales is currently inviting expressions of interest from companies, from Wales or elsewhere, who wish to develop and manage an annual international film event for Wales.
Through its unique and innovative approach, this event should have the capacity to attract significant film industry participants UK-wide and internationally, providing a platform for interaction with the new, emerging and already established filmmaking talent from Wales.
This interaction around a focused event should aim at addressing barriers to participation in the film industry (including accessing decision-makers and understanding business practices); engender a spirit of entrepreneurship and aspire to stimulating future trade.
With the support of the National Assembly for Wales, the Film Agency has allocated up to £180,000 for 2007-09, to include the delivery of a pilot event in 2007-08 and a full-scale event in 2008-09.
For further information, to discuss informally, and for submission details, visit: www.filmagencywales.com or contact Dan Thomas on: daniel
The Film Agency for Wales operates an Equal Opportunities Policy. It warmly welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
