Brideshead Revisited By Hanway Films

HanWay Films has announced that production will begin this Spring on a lavish film adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s much loved and celebrated novel 'Brideshead Revisited'.
Robert Bernstein and Douglas Rae through their Ecosse Films (Becoming Jane, Mrs. Brown) have developed the screenplay and are producing. Filming will take place on location in Oxford and Venice.
Taking the helm on this new big-screen version of Brideshead Revisited will be British director Julian Jarrold (Becoming Jane, Kinky Boots) from a screenplay by multiple BAFTA awarded Andrew Davies, (Bleak House, Bridget Jones Diary, Bridget Jones:The Edge OF Reason) and Jeremy Brock (The Last King of Scotland, Charlotte Gray, Mrs. Brown). Complete casting will be announced shortly.
