Two Appointments At Irish Film Board

Emma Scott has been named as the new Production Executive at Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB).
Working closely with CEO Simon Perry and Alan Maher, also a production Executive at the IFB, Scott will be involved in the selection process for production funding and will manage a slate of IFB supported films, including feature, documentaries, animation and short films from pre-application stage through to production.
Working for over fifteen years in the film industry, Scott has accumulated a range of film experience. Scott’s previous positions include Company Director for independent film company Liquid Films, whose credits include 'Crushproof' and 'I Could Read the Sky'.
She also worked as an independent crew member on international film productions for various US studios. As Head of Production with Irish Screen, Emma oversaw many Irish and UK productions including 'When the Sky Falls', while more recently as Production Executive with sales company MR International Film Sales she was responsible for commissioning feature film projects.
Sarah Dillon has been appointed as the new Production & Development Co-ordinator at Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board. In this role, Dilllon will work closely with the core creative team of the Development Executive and two Production Executives.
The responsibilities of this position include contracting and monitoring the progress of all projects selected for development funding, including feature films, documentaries and animation, and for the maintenance of the agency’s development files. Dillon was appointed to the role of Administrative Assistant at the IFB earlier this year and previously worked as Press Liaison for the Irish Film and TV Awards.
