Set The Year In Motion With VideoForum 2007

Now in its fifteenth year, the 2007 show will see over 120 manufacturers demonstrating the very latest solutions for television broadcast & IPTV workflow, including Avid, Canon, Cirro Lite, Crystal Vision, Grass Valley, JVC, Kramer Electronics, Root 6, Sony, Tektronix and many more.
Today’s VideoForum is so much more than a technology exhibition. It’s a dynamic, multi-format event that features high profile keynote speakers, breakfast briefings, seminars, workshops and masterclasses, all of which are provided free of charge to visitors. In short, VideoForum has grown into the UK’s biggest and most important industry event of the year.
Event Director, Kieron Seth commented: "I am delighted by the outstanding quality of speakers participating at this year’s event. Their subject matter tackles many of the key debates – tapeless production, next generation DVD, HDTV, IPTV and mobile TV. There really is no other event in Europe that gives visitors as many sessions of such quality and all at no cost."
One key new development is the announcement that Tektronix’s Vision 07 Seminar Tour will stop at VideoForum on Wednesday February 7. This will be of great interest to NLE editors, broadcast engineers and post production engineers. Their first session, Video and Audio-Measurement in Post Production is an absolute must for anyone who is producing for the television industry and is concerned about picture legality.
Delegates will learn the necessary skills to produce compelling content of the highest quality. This will be followed by Maintaining Quality in File-Based Video, an essential session for heads of post production, chief engineers and QC engineers. Find out how to ensure your file-based content is delivered to broadcasters and programme distributors without being rejected because it doesn’t meet spec in any of the three quality layers of file-based video.
VideoForum takes place at Earls Court 2 from February 6-8. Visitors can register online at: www.videoforum.co.uk and find further information on the full seminar programme.
