'Calon Gaeth' To Premiere At Cardiff Film Festival

'Calon Gaeth', a new S4C romantic period film based on the classic novel 'Small Country' by Siân James, is being premiered at the Cardiff Film Festival on Friday, November 17.
Filmed on location in Brecon, Cardiff and Pembrokeshire by Green Bay Media, the new film stars an impressive cast including Mark Lewis-Jones, Nia Roberts, Rhian Morgan and Gaynor Morgan-Rees.
Newcomers Catrin Morgan and Gareth Bale make their big screen debut, while Tom Ellis – formerly Dr Oliver Cousins in EastEnders – also stars.
The film, directed by Ashley Way and produced by Richard Staniforth, is a family saga dealing with the themes of love, honour and loss leading up to and during the First World War. It will be broadcast as a series of four hour-long episodes on S4C in the New Year.
The film will be screened at Cineworld Cinema on November 17 at 8.30pm.
English subtitles will be available.
