Helmet Camera Specialists Launch MPEG 2 Recorder.

The solid state recorder, claimed to be one of the smallest, lightest and most-robust on the market, records onto a compact flash card in MPEG 2 format, which is easily transferred to a PC for editing or burning to DVD.
There are no moving parts, making it ideal for the most extreme conditions and recording situations. Given it's high recording resolution it is the perfect recording device for production companies and extreme sport professionals.

The MPEG 2 recorder comes with a number of features including built-in microphone, external audio and headphone sockets, direct AV-output and LANC remote option which can be used to remotely control recording. The recorder can either be powered by 4 AA Li-Ion batteries, a 12v battery or hard-wired into your car or motorcycle battery. 4 AA Li-Ion batteries will power both the recorder and helmet camera for 4-5 hours at 20 degrees C.
