Soundcraft digital radio console to make air waves

Hospital and community radio stations have been snapping up Soundcraft's RM1d On-Air digital radio console.
Harman Pro UK dealer Studiocare has sold six consoles in the last three months to a variety of local broadcasters, all of whom have been very impressed by the RM1d's build quality and ease of use.
Studiocare's technical sales manager Rick Whalley commented: "Soundcraft is a well-respected brand and it's one that people know and trust, so we do tend to recommend its products to our customers.
"The RM1d has proved particularly successful with smaller broadcasters because it combines the benefits of an all-digital signal path with the simplicity of control previously associated with analogue consoles."
The RM1d is Soundcraft's first digital On-Air radio console. Designed for quality-conscious self-op studios, it offers a pool of assignable digital and analogue inputs and is very cost-effective.
Whalley adds: "As well as national and international sales of both new and used items, we offer technical advice and support to all sectors of the industry.
"This makes us ideally placed to offer good advice to customers - and ensure they get the right product for their needs."
Studiocare, which has been a Harman Pro UK dealer for 15 years, believes its strong links with the local broadcast community has helped generate sales for the Soundcraft RM1d.
