RTL Group Choose Dalet OpenMedia

Dalet Digital Media Systems, an independent software vendor and a leading provider of media asset management and digital production tools, have announced that TVI, the Belgium subsidiary of the RTL group, has selected Dalet OpenMedia to upgrade its newsroom infrastructure.
The digital newsroom system will be implemented in the new RTL facilities. On-air date is December 2006, in less than a hundred days.

The Dalet OpenMedia newsroom system will integrate a variety of third-party systems including EVS CleanEdit news production and play-out servers, Avid Deko computer graphics and MTB automation. The Dalet OpenMedia e-Regie plug-in will provide enhanced usability in the gallery by offering advanced timing functions and live-assist counters to operators.
