Quantel Chooses OmniTek XR Systems

OmniTek have announced that Quantel has chosen to equip its demonstration facilities with multiple OmniTek XR systems.
The OmniTek XR image analysis system specifically designed for colorists and post-production editors working in a high- definition environment.
Currently, Quantel iQ, eQ and Pablo systems set the standard for Post Production editing and colour grading equipment, and this leading technology has been adopted by over 650 movie makers worldwide. When used in conjunction with Quantel systems, the OmniTek XR provides editors with the ultimate in high-resolution monitoring and colour analysis for all SD, HD, dual-link, and 2k images.

At IBC stand 6.329, OmniTek will be demonstrating v2.0 software for the XR waveform monitor. Already the gold standard for post-production and DI users, the new v2.0 software takes the XR even further with features such as vectorscope zoom, split-mode waveform magnification, and full-resolution video proxy. The OmniTek XR systems can also be seen in action on the Quantel stand 7.220.
