BAL SPECTRUM Offers Truely Flexible 19" Rack System

BAL introduces SPECTRUM, a 19” 3U high rack frame system which will accept up to 16 multi-function cards with twin power supplies.
It provides a high density, easily maintainable mix and match system.
The vertically mounted cards are accessible from the front of the rack which has a depth of around 310mm, ideal for use in OB vans as well as studio installations. Cooling is by twin fan forced air front to back.
Provision is made for each card to be controlled and monitored via a common data bus which can be configured to suit the customers’ control system.
With SPECTRUM, Audio, Video, Analogue, Digital, Standard and High definition signals can be processed in the same rack.
As the name implies SPECTRUM can provide a wide range of signal processing functionality in the same rack frame. A truly mix and match system.
