Fremantle International Distribution announce programme deals across Europe

Fremantle International Distribution (FID), the global distribution arm of FremantleMedia, have revealed a range of programme deals across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Eastern Europe.
Strengthening the company’s ties in the region, the first deal, brokered by Veronika Gracher, Vice President Sales, German Speaking Europe & Eastern Europe, FID, focuses on a substantial package closed with distribution partner Intra Communication, encompassing 14 varied factual going to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Belarus and Moldova. The terms of the deal grant Intra Communication the rights to distribute the programmes to both public and commercial channels in the region.
Featured in the package of more than 35 hours of programming are factual titles:

• Sex in the Bush – Australian Animal Attraction
• Sex Inspectors
• Sex & Shopping
• Extraordinary People
• Kings & Queens
• The Nude
• The Elvis Files
• Stolen Children: Argentina’s Disappeared
• Unknown Chaplin
• Glenn Miller - Moonlight Serenade

In a separate deal, 'Prehistoric Park' has also been snapped up by HBO Spektrum for their channels in Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, as has series two of 'Jimmy’s Farm'.
