PRO-BEL SUPPLIES TO GERMAN TV STATION
UK Routing system manufacturer PRO-BEL’s German distributor, Delta Systems, has carried out a major installation in Germany at the public television station of Radio Bremen.
The German distributor based in Rodermark delivered a 128 x 128 SDI Pro-Bel Eclipse matrix which supports the transmission operation, news, various post production controls and a television studio.
A System 3 Controller, 35 remote control panels and a patch panel were also included in the order.
Klaus Graumann, Head of TV production facilities at Radio Bremen said: “Radio Bremen Television chose the Pro-Bel Eclipse and its control system after thorough investigations at the end of last year. Pro-Bel offered the best integration of our legacy matrixes, along with new digital matrix.
“We are sure we have chosen a reliable and cost effective new digital backbone for our production facilities.”
Delta-System has also recently installed a Pro-Bel Eclipse router with a 384 x 256 crosspoint matrix and two outputs each at SZM-Studios in Unterfohring.
Another installation of an eclipse system with 128 x 128 crosspoints was carried out for the public television station NDR in Kiel.
