Red Submarine On Board As JVC Professional Dealer

JVC Professional Europe, the UK subsidiary of the Japanese pro broadcast equipment company, have appointed York-based digital audio and video systems supplier Red Submarine to be dealers for JVC Pro cameras, monitors, recorders, and other professional broadcast essentials, including JVC's ProDV and ProHD range and Hitachi pro broadcast cameras, which are sold through JVC in the UK.
The Red Submarine dealership commenced officially at the start of June and got off to a flying start, with three GY-HD100E HD cameras being sold in the first week.
Red Submarine have been supplying video equipment to broadcasters ranging from small independent production outfits right up to BBC regional companies for some time, but this development represents a big step forward. To demonstrate their commitment to the JVC range and to the concept of HD broadcasting, the company have set up an HD demo system at their head office, where customers can come to try out JVC ProHD cameras and recorders for themselves, and monitor the results in HD quality. As with all equipment sold by Red Submarine, prospective customers can order from the company's web site www.sub.co.uk or in person by visiting the company's head office on the outskirts of beautiful York. In the latter case, they can take their order away with them from the company's on-site warehouse, which is over 12,000 sq ft in size.
"Our customers undoubtedly read about pro broadcast equipment on line, and of course they can buy it from our web site if they wish," says Red Submarine Video Sales Manager Andy Ingle. "However, where this kind of equipment is concerned, we find that they often want to see it and try it before they decide to buy. That's why we've built the HD demo system."
"We're proud to be appointed JVC Professional dealers - there aren't too many here in the North East," comments Andrew Wass, Managing Director of Red Submarine and of sister company Gear4music. "Of course, we can supply to anywhere in the UK if you place an order via our web site - you get the same great deals on our prices, however you buy."
JVC Professional Area Sales Manager Nigel Cliff adds: "We were looking to strengthen our presence in the North East, to enable local customers to receive local professional service and advice. This is where Red Submarine came in with their expertise. We at JVC welcome Red Submarine 'on board'; together we'll ensure that our customers enjoy 'The Perfect Experience'."
To discuss your HD requirements, or to book an HD demo at Red Submarine's head office, contact Andy Ingle on 0870 740 4787.
